He's a strange one. Obviously he's got the promotions there but he always seems on the verge of falling out or getting sacked. Sky love him, Scotty Scotty Scotty. He doesn't have anything about him.
Maybes the money at the clubs he’s done well with in the true reason behind his success? That and mitrovic scoring ten billion goals that season
They seem to believe they're pointing out things that ordinary supporters can't see. In truth everyone knows mistakes have been made, as happens at every club, but they seem to think that endlessly chanting them out makes them superior and more perceptive. That's all bad enough but they also spout 'future criticism' that they conveniently forget when they're proved wrong. We were told how the club was for sale, the SOL would be left to crumble, Rigg would be away, we'd 'cash in' on all of our best players and so on and so on ... ... once they realise they weren't as all knowing as they thought they move on to more prophecies of doom or, if all else fails, go back to their comfort blankets of the BCB, Beale, Mowbray, Neil, Pritchard etc. If, as with Pritchard who was 'forced out of the club', it emerges that he wasn't a victim of this terrible regime after all, they'll drop him from their litany of grudges against the club and find something else to take his place. It's a long way from the daft automatic support I grew up with and difficult to comprehend. Yes, of course, blind faith is irrational and might look naive to the intelligentsia but I'd take it rather than the bitter and tedious agenda of the perpetually miserable. Having said that, the vast majority of decent supporters seem to find a happy balance between the two ... ... we know we're a long way from perfect, but it's our club and the good times are great.
Just seen the regis talk in tickets are sold out ! if anyone got a pair these and can’t go for whatever reason I’ll take them off ya hands

Be interesting to see how Scott Parker does in Burnley, I remember Eddie Howe looking totally out of place there ... ... like their version of Beale I can't see him living there and commutes aren't always a recipe for a close team.
Sheffield United will be poor imo, Burnley will likely be fine, I think Luton will be ready to go again too
You may be right but they'll need to start well ... ... I've never seen a Burnley side so dispirited and flat as last season.
I'm not sure why, but,I really don't fear any of the teams coming down,or any of those coming up. I'm thinking we could go back 60 years or so here.....they say history often repeats itself.......us and Leeds battling for the top!
RLB says they are interviewing for new coaches but that he's not bringing anybody from previous club.
@JamesCopley_ Vito Mannone on Sunderland head coach Régis Le Bris: “When I was with him, I managed to progress myself with certain parts of the game. He is a different kind of coach. He is one of the best at making you progress technically. “He is thoughtful and he talks well. He is very deep into football. I wouldn’t like to compare it to anyone, but he is very detailed. “He is a coach that likes to build out from the back, playing football and searching for solutions to beat the opponent. We had tactics for every opponent. “He made me do stuff that I hadn’t done before so that is a way to progress a player. That goes into every training session. "We had to be connected with each other and find new ways to attack. We will see how this works in England and in the Championship. “At Lorient, we had a lot of meetings about having a relationship with the fans. It was one of the most important things at Lorient when he was there. “In France, you have to go over to the ultras and speak to them. You have to go over and thank the fans and he wanted that relationship. It was very important to him, so I hope that is going to work really well with him at Sunderland. “When a new coach comes, they need a bit of support. I’m sure the fans will give him the best support. They will welcome him. “He needs to work with the players and get them to gel together. Hopefully the players will start to grow game-by-game.” #SAFC
