The only way he stays is if we don't get a bid

Honestly trying to translate Baz’s sound bites into what the club actually mean is sometimes exhausting.

This either means Greaves has been impressed with the new set up and willing to give it one last go with some assurances

Or, the interest has died down somewhat. With nobody coming close to the valuation

Or as others have mentioned it’s all bullshit and he will be sold in a week

West Ham close to signing Kilman, doubt he forces a move to Ipswich + they won’t pay what we want. Branthwaite staying at Everton… things falling into place already

“I know there has been interest from a number of Premier League clubs, including Everton and West Ham, but I just love this club and this city. It really is where I want to be for the rest of my career. No club could ever tempt me away and money would only make me happy in the short-term. Hull is the place to be, the Pride of Yorkshire. Up The Tigers.”

Jacob Greaves hasn’t said this, but imagine if he did.

Sorry. I just want some positive news. :emoticon-0100-smile

Can’t we just sell Greaves to Forest for £40m?

That would be the words of someone with no ambition, or City would be near the top of the PL challenging for the title, like on Football Manager games!

We've had zero realistic bids....I suppose I should have said, the only way he stays is if we don't get a realistic bid. As no player will turn down a 3/4yr prem contract.

I will be extremely happy if he's still here come the close of the widow, but I really don't expect it

He's a lot younger tho...playing that many games at that standard at 18 is very impressive

Baz seems to think greaves is more likely to stay than jaden.
Although im not sure that means there’s a good chance he’s staying
