    Outstanding news. This is one thing where credit is due compared to the past regime. Young talent went the journey because the pathway to first team appearance were no where to be seen.

    Creating them, will get plays like Rigg to be convinced to sign for the longer haul.

    It’s canny when a lad from a mixed heritage family (mag and mackem) can come up from the academy and embrace the team that brought him on.

    Bloody well done to his Dad as well as he’s done the right thing.

    I see Fishpaste has tweeted about Norwood. Similar to what I have said for the past week although I’ve heard he’s been up here twice and has agreed the offer. Although nothing stops a last minute bid from another club …

    This is the biggest signing Speakman has made in his time (until Neil signs his extension in the coming days) a real statement when you look at the level of team we were up against for his signature

    That’s what I heard a couple days ago mate. For all I know another club could have offered him a better deal in the last couple of days. It’s his last move of his career so he needs to make the right choice
