Whatever Ronaldo does or doesn't do it's fair to say his presence frees up space for others ... ... there are always two defenders on him and there's enough skill elsewhere to monopolise on that. I've never really liked him but I think he's a good captain, especially when compared to the likes of Kane. I expect him to score the winner here after all that.
The SoL would be class with a roof and one of those 4 sided screens above the centre of the pitch. Get is sorted KLD.
Its class how the roof all folds down into the scoreboards/TVs. Saying that, it would probably be like a giant umbrella in North East England and the entire SoL would be whisked off to Oz in autumn.
Always had second thoughts when a player goes on for as long as he has. No one can doubt he's had an exceptional career, going to an inferior league like Saudi must've had some kind of effect on him. Fair does for him for having the willingness to go on for so long but surely there must be a time for a player to say " yep that's it". I hope he hasn't gone past that point.
Well well... These sides folk dismiss are far far better than many seem to realise. As I have said before, they have players in the top leagues and are very well coached, particularly at the out of possession stuff. The last 6 or so years have seen the gap close massively at international level. Teams dont just roll over others anymore.
Switzerland have been outstanding so far. England will need to up their game massively to have any sort of chance of beating them.
