Imagine if we signed Sesko and Onana.

    Sesko - 6'5
    Onana - 6'5
    Havertz 6'4
    Saliba - 6'4
    Gabriel 6'3
    Kiwior - 6'2
    Tomiyasu - 6'2
    White- 6'1
    Rice - 6'1
    Partey - 6'0

    Arteta looking to bully teams.

Saying this though I would rather we went for Douglas Luiz than Onana.

This would be a monumental shame if this report is true. The kid is supremely talented and even though he’s only 15, you can tell he’s gonna have a top career.

Would be a huge sucker punch to lose him.

Sesko signing a new deal at Leipzig. Shame.

Reports saying although we were interested, we never formalised it and didn’t push the boat out for him. He was a target but wasn’t THE target. Will be interesting if we do sign a proper number 9 this summer or if we just get a versatile forward/winger instead.

I know nothing about this kid but from what I’ve read on Twitter from youth scouts or people who watch academy football say this would be a huge coup for us.

    Been reading about this.

One of the issues here is that Arsenal can’t offer him a professional contract until he turns 17 in November so it’ll have to be a short term scholarship.

Bayern can offer a professional contract NOW because of different rules in the EU. This is a huge problem and may mean loads of talented prospects leave to join other European clubs.

This could be an interesting saga to follow.

Tierney went off on a stretcher in Scotland's 1-1 draw with Switzerland tonight. It really doesn't look good.

Think it's safe to say his value has tanked even further and it's unlikely we'll be getting rid this Summer...

Amario Cozier-Dubbery is set to leave Arsenal after rejecting a new contract.

Another shame. He's a talented player. Very similar to Saka.

I get why he wants to leave, but we need to find a way to maximise value from our academy. There's no reason why he couldn't have gotten more minutes or a decent loan spell to raise his profile.

I understand not every youth player will make it here, but we need to at least churn out some profit from them that can be reinvested in upgrading the calibre of the squad - at all levels.

Chelsea and Villa selling academy players to each other for big sums to get around PSR. Standard.

Some news over the last week:

At least we get a bit of extra cash from that deal.

This is extremely disappointing. These were two highly-rated academy players who we've lost because we couldn't give them an opportunity to raise their profile. Obviously I understand that as the standards of our team get higher, the more difficult it is for academy players because there's a higher threshold, but we should have at least been in a position to give them some first-team minutes (either here or on loan) and sell them on for pure profit.

The academy needs a huge shake up because the way it's working at the moment simply isn't good enough.

Lucas Nygaard signed for the club from FC Nordsjaelland. He's meant to be comfortable stepping in between the CBs in buildup and playing with the ball at his feet. I guess time will tell.

Looks like we're keeping tabs on Riccardo Calafiori along with Chelsea:
