I think we have to be very careful with him. We ran Jobe into the ground and his performances suffered. Very young players have peaks and troughs, we've got to manage those properly.

And it shows one thing that is absolutely class, the lad and his parents are switched on enough to know that playing time and commitment to developing him is more important than more money! Still sounds like he is getting a good contract but I bet some clubs were offering double or even treble the wage he will get here. The attitude he has shown signing shows a lot of maturity and is another indicator this lad has the making of a star.
