He’s just another very meh Tory. Looking at the betting it suggests they’ll end up with about 75 but I reckon 100-150 is the right bet.
Yeh it won't be less than 100. If I'm Labour I spend the next 4 days telling ppl to go out and vote. That's their biggest adversary right now.
100% this. The Tory vote has collapsed, but Labour really needs to get it’s own supporters, and all those waverers thinking of voting Labour, to the polls on Thursday. The message will be, If you want change, get out there and vote for it
I think they'll get closer to 200. I reckon there's a bedrock of 30% of the electorate that are Tory voters, and despite all the talk of Reform and what they're telling the pollsters they'll turn out and vote Tory. The only seats Reform will win will be the ones where it's between them and the Tories and there's no real risk Labour will get in (Clacton) and places like Ashfield where Reform are either 2nd or leading. There'll be plenty more votes for Reform in rock-solid Labour seats where disenchanted Tories may as well register a protest vote as a free hit, but otherwise, most lifelong Tories will still come out and vote, wait and see. Between the Tories and Reform I reckon they'll get 35%+ between them, and Labour won't be much above that - a fair percentage of their vote won't get out of bed, and others will vote Green, Liberal (fair enough if it's a tactical vote) or some other fringe party, thinking Labour will win come what may, so **** it because they're the New Tories anyway. But because Labour will win Scotland, that will counterbalance the loss of 20-30 seats they could and should have won in the Midlands and the South and coastal towns that they won't. Labour will get about 350 seats and a majority of 50-ish. Talk of a supermajority is nonsense. I think the Libs will nudge 50 though. All a pity, as at one stage there was a chance to bury the Tory Party (and all its insidious Tufton St/Russian kleptocrats that enable it) for a generation. As it stands, they'll be a force again in 2029 with a wave of US and European right-wing tides surging against them. Let's enjoy Thursday while we can.
The people that are not voting Tory aren't going to forget that Labour hates them, you spend your life hating these people they are not going to vote Labour.
Yeah the message will be that. The reality won't. Sure, vote Labour, but just know you're voting for the managed opposition
If you’re the sort of ideological socialist who can afford to endure endless Tory governments until you get the left-wing Labour Government that suits you, you’ll be waiting a very long time. Meanwhile, everything worthwhile and decent about this country will continue turning to ****. If you don’t vote to fire the Tories in the ****ing bin, you have no right to complain about them when they continue to rampage through the country robbing us blind
The disdain for anyone that voted Brexit or has any love for this country & it's people is ever present from you & your Labour Party. A few days before the election pretending to offer an olive branch is pathetic.
There is a delicious Irony as its exactly what the PLP chose to do in the previous 2 elections We are supposed to live in a binfire. If you didn't realise that when the entire PLP turned against the leadership so Boris could win, I don't know what I can say to convince you otherwise It's not about ideology, it's about not trusting the same ****ing ****s that preferred the mess we have to supporting an actual opposition to it Lying backstabbing ****s If they gave Corbyn a fair shot let him fail on his own, it might be different but they showed us exactly who they are Where do I put my X
Starmer is just Davos Globalism on steroids , it's going to be difficult to be worse than the Tories but they will be.
Good one Trotsky. When are you emigrating to the socialist haven that is Venezuela, incredible success story. You and your boyfriend Owen "cry baby" Jones can waltz off hand in hand to Utopia You truly are a clueless ****wit with less brain cells than your statue friends.
