    As a first offer, it's really not bad.

    Clearly the obligation doesn't help our FFP this year, but I suspect some PL sides will put money on the table now.

    That's the perks of signing players from the Championship. You'll never pay a massive fee as they're yet to play at the top level

    Take the deal if they offer it he will throw a strop and play **** anyway if we don't just try get a loan and good loan fee off them.

    Just because a big club comes in, it doesn't mean we've got to get a **** price.

    Get them up to €30-35m and he can go.

    A loan Fee now plus an obligation to buy for 20 to 23 mill is a decent deal just try get something extra like a good prospect on loan.

    If we never let him go his price might plummet if he decided not to give it his all because his head is turned.

    They’re reporting in Birmingham, that if we agree to sell him, we have to give Villa the option of matching the fee agreed.

    That's not what Tan claimed, but I've long been skeptical of the specifics of the deal.

    Wonder how that works with a loan with an obligation. Technically there is no fee this year, and the eventual fee is a range. Do Villa have to match the 20m euros but offer it this year? Or the 23m?

    That was part of the original deal that they have the opportunity to match any bids for him with first refusal i think i read when we first got him.

    One of the reasons it gets so few visitors compared to tourist hotspots like Hull. Their beaches aren’t as good either.
