There's alot of knee jerking going on. I've read on here Archie has to stay. We need new owners. Farke has to go.
Get rid of that useless one trick pony Farke, get a manager/coach who wants to do the job his way with the players he wants, if the **** owners who don't give a **** about leeds united don't like that, tell the bastards to **** off. **** the Yankee bastards. **** off
I've been thinking about this WJ. Firstly, it means that my calculations regarding our accounts was totally wrong (hey it happens), and thus we are in a lot worse position financially than making the £30m loss that I expected, which is very scary. Secondly, both the FA and FL offices are closed during the weekend and thus players registrations cannot be transferred until 1st July, and thus any funds received for a player sale, would thus count in next years financials. Now I'm sure if there was a question from the football authorities about our FFP, we would reply yes but we were only a day out, but in theory we would still have broken the rules. We'd argue that we did the transfer before 30th June and the EFL, would reply but you knew the offices were closed and registration couldn't proceed, so you should have done it earlier. Of course, Ristac has come up with some other options, which are just as plausible
This from Emu is what I was banging on about months ago. “My take was that it was important to the future of the club that we go up immediately to afford the transfer money owed and improve the stadium for the next generation of fans. Now we are a Championship club with Premier League bills to pay, about £80 million a year less in tv money and a financialnoose tightening around our necks. We are now in **** or bust territory regarding promotion this season and probably with a worse squad.” Also something else some of you won’t like is that Archie, Charlie Cresswell to Toulouse and Shackelton to the blunts are with the same agent who was peed off at the treatment of Cresswell. So we will probably never know exactly what happened yesterday but to find out Cresswell going to France and Archie going to London almost at the same time could just be coincidence? I am just hoping we really do have a list of players we are going to bring in to improve the squad for the coming season. We will not go up if we don’t, and if we don’t go up we are fooked. FARKE has a lot to do in limited time as the players are back on Monday for pre season
Feck cresswell he is not good enough or would be first choice. You bang on about fees and when we get some it's wrong.
No Wakey my views haven’t changed, FARKE isn’t the man as far as Im concerned and I said that if we don’t go up we would see a worse summer than the hectic summer of last season. The consensus on here was that FARKE got a free pass for his failings because of last summer, well so far we are almost at 20 players out of the door with more to come and nobody brought in yet. I also said if we failed to go up second time we are fooked, so hopefully that won’t happen but will FARKE be here? Maybe Cresswell isn’t good enough but we will never know now will we. FARKE stopped him moving last year for £5m and now he goes for less after missing a whole season of football
What the sale of Archie certainly has done is dampen my enthusiasm for next season as now I wonder what the truth of our financial situation really is and whether we can build a squad to go up. If we really have got rid of 17-20 players it must be for tuppence ha’penny if with them gone and the RB investment can’t amount to £35 million. Does it mean we are back to taking chances on the likes of Sonny Perkins and Joe Gelhardt again?
The fee is what it is and cresswell was needed same as Gnonto and in my opinion both can go. I see Gnonto as a liabilty due to his petulant behaviour and a sending off waiting to happen. We can do without players who want to leave. Dan James was happy to stick it out in my opinion so let's see who we sign of better standard than the lower league dross who have already left.
