Fellas, Omari was not much of a player in pre season against Colchester. He sat out some games at the start of the season and then came back better, and kept improving all season. By the end of the season he was worth the £20m and he is going to keep improving. If the team is doing okay in general he’s going to be unplayable and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was playing Champions League football in a couple of years from now.
He was tearing it up at the beginning, top quality but then boom....massive injury after massive injury, his confidence is shot, needs a new start and to rebuild confidence
Sorry for your loss, Gaffer, hope you’re holding up okay mate. Regarding Hutchinson, I agree it’s a good deal and he’s a good player. Took a while to adapt to McKenna’s system and the Championship, but I think he was comfortably our best player in the second half of the season. For me, his best position is in that number 10 role with Burns on the right. I’d like to think Hutchinson would give some Premier League left backs a tough time though.
Thanks fellas, and I cant wait for new season to start. Mid August isnt it, and who's going up Suffolk to see us nick a point off Lpool!
If people think £20m is a lot to pay for Hutch, I wonder what they'd think of Brentford splashing £40m on Archie Gray
1st of all, sorry for your loss. I agree with this 100%. Transfer fees are going up, by buying younger players, there is a massive upside on sell on fees etc. the club now has forward thinkers in positions of power and are setting us up for success in the long term as well as now
If not more, they are saying that PSG are offering 250 million for Lamine Yamal, now whilst I'm in love with Lamine and he is a greater prospect.... he isn't 6 or 7 times better than Omari
Erm… so Hladky is now a free agent after failing to agree a new contract. This is awful news for Town - not just because we don’t have a goalkeeper, but also because it sends the wrong message to all the players about how the club values them.
