I last seen them in 2012 at the Academy in Newcastle. I couldn't believe they were playing there tbh, got right near the front. Felt really up close and personal. Michael Schenker Group were support, and Michael came on with Scorpions for most of their set as well, absolutely brilliant night. Got to meet Klaus, Rudolph, Michael, Matthias and James Kottak (I hadn't realised he died in January 24 until today) which was a bonus.
