Artic monkeys at Mannar key Sunderland. About 200 people before they played Glastonbury 2007 was some going. Kasabian at independent, about 100 people in. Big league, I loved the Verve in 2007 at Glastonbury. Oasis, a million times. Even Liam Gallagher just gone was special. Couldnt nail it to one.
Neither was I tbh, but they were class live. Only the 3 of them originally and they nailed it. His voice was powerful for a little fella. Really good.
Seen Iron Maiden countless times, but the last time they were up here on the Legacy of the Beast tour was the best I've seen. Stage show, setlist....just everything about it was perfect. Closely followed by Scorpions in 1980 and the Boomtown Rats around 2012/13.
Class. Loved the manor key. Remember seeing the rakes there when I was 17. Kasabian are class, think I've seen them 4 times. Oasis are my favourite band but I've only seen them once at the sol and were bang average/****e.
I'm not a fan in the slightest but I don't think Dua Lipa was miming. Singing over the top of a backing track maybe but to her credit, her music might be crap but it was genuine enough, imo.
Seen Oasis at the old Wembley for Standing on the Shoulders tour. They were supported by Doves and Happy Mondays/Black Grape. Class times away with mates.
I was due to go and see Paul Wellar at Edinburgh Castle with my wife in a few weeks time, which I was looking forward too but it landed on the same time as my sons graduation so we had to sell the tickets.
Scorpions 1980 was that with the Scorpion drum kit. Just because I was so lucky to see her Pat Benatar at the City Hall Recent shout out for the Black Crowes Best newish band of late The Damn Truth
Saw loads of bands back then. Clubbing down the Sugar shack in Middlesbrough every Friday and then tall trees on a Saturday night. Great times.
Greenday at the arena only band I’ve ever been to see! Seen a fair few after racing at York but racing came first!
Aye, it was with the Scorpion drum kit, Animal Magnetism tour. Blackfoot we're support. I had just turned 15 and it blew me away, it was my first rock gig. Still got the programme, cost £1.
Now Blackfoot were a good band as well. Couldn't get to Wembley to see the Scorpions and had to sell my tickets for the gig two weeks ago. Having seen the footage I am gutted
Should get yourself to more gigs mate. It's class seeing live music. As for York, **** me, there's a reason I don't bet on the flat anymore and it's because of york
