People get hung up on names. The Swiss are a better team than Italy. Austria are the best team outside of Spain in this tournament so far. None of it will be easy, though we do have the ability to do it.
I agree with you. Austria and Switzerland would finish in the top half of the PL imo ... ... England bottom in the way they're currently playing. Southgate has a wonderful bunch of players, terrible team. I hope Switzerland carry on, at 2-0, and get a third.
Before the tournament that made more sense but Italy would be a much easier opponent in reality. Watching Italy is like watching us play but with even less pressing.

Regardless... Serbia>Denmark>Slovenia> Slovakia>Switzerland should be the easiest route to a semi final ever, particularly when you've arguably got the best squad in the tournament.
You'd be furious as an Italian in that crowd. They have defenders who were left totally exposed, a midfield that allowed the Swiss to run through them and an attack that was isolated from midfield. It was amazing to see such huge gaps between those three areas ... ... the Germany v Denmark should be fascinating as well. I'm hoping for an early 'away goal'.
