    It feels like we miss slab head. Could always rely on him to score from a set piece and carry us through to gloss over the lack of creativity

    Aside from the administratively correct replies you’ve already had, the one positive is that Georgia are through, they’ve been very entertaining

    Ah, what could have been if Bryan Robson didn't get injured in either Italia '90 or Mexico '86.

    I would have loved to have seen Maradonna try and pull that hand of God **** with Robbo around.

    Gazza, Robson, Lineker and maybe Barnes. The others if I remember became good in our eyes after that tournament and with hindsight.
    That said, Waddle, Walker and Platt were pretty good too.

    Maybe I am talking BS lol.

    Just reading out Martin Out/In/The saviour thread.

    We all seem to think that he was totally inflexible during the season in the league (group stage) - normally to our detriment and we got lucky. Then in the knockout games, he got things spot on and pulled it out of the bag.

    Sound familiar? Hope so.
