    It's a pretty uninspiring list. I'd give it to Clarke or McIlroy. Andy Murray shouldn't be on the list till he wins a Slam.

    The whole things a farce anyway. I was never a big fan, but gave up on it completely the year Zara Philips won it.

    I think it'll be Darren Clarke, he's not likely to get another go. McIlroy will probably get Young Sports Personality.

    no doubt our Hun friends will think the bbc bias is showing through again , no Rangers players there !! If Sir Walter dosn't get a special achievement award , god help the bbc , they might as well close down , The protest will move to stage 2
