I did and lost my guest card, did me no good what's so ever.
I hope everyone does not think all is forgiven with the **** show we were left with, cos lots will not forget it.

If he buys well this summer and Regis turns out to be s good appointment that gets us contending I think the vast majority will consider all forgiven and all forgotten.

I couldn't care less Bob, to be perfectly honest with you.

No offence but you're talking as if how you feel is more important than the club as a whole ...

... in reality people know nothing is ever perfect but accept it and get on with supporting the club.

In the grand scheme of things a few gripes about 'Pritchard being forced out' or 'why did we bring in Burstow on loan' are virtually irrelevant. At a time when people are feeling more optimistic I think you're wrong to say 'lots' will continue to hold a grudge. We're selling huge amounts of season tickets, the manager has been well received and the new kit is flying off the shelves.

Last season was last season and I've no intention of spoiling this one before it's begun.

There are still people on social media who, every time anything optimistic is mentioned, come back with 'BCB' ...

... it's almost as automatic as TV presenters when they say 'X' then immediately 'Previously known as Twitter'.

Surely there has to come a point when people just let it drop, beyond boring now imo.

Our fans can be split into two groups nowadays, supporters and detractors. Some are firmly entrenched in one camp, some totter backwards and forward across the line.

I think with improvements this year very few will be left detracting.

there’s 3 as there’s those who just detract. I heard Speakman stood in the queue for a bloke to take his kid to the toilet so he may be a twunt some of the time but not all of it. I’m a totterer between the ****show last season and the good things I’m seeing now. I’m hoping everything comes together but that’s up to the club leadership now they’ve got the chance to drive us forward. I hope and pray they do!

But I’ll never forget the BCB. Soz.

    That's all perfectly reasonable mate.

I can't speak for anyone else but while it's fine that you never forget the BCB or whatever ...

... it has become boring to see it brought up all the time, the new manager thread and here we are again.

The Mags must laugh their heads off every time they see it.

No need to apologise to me. People bearing a grudge for a set of stickers doesn't impact my enjoyment of supporting Sunderland, just theirs.

You are spot on with your last sentence, it is time to be positive

Some will never forget the BCB incident however, no benefit in folk bringing it up all the time as its in the past n lessons will have been learned - doesnt mean people have to forget

Even if some people are still sour about the BCB fiasco, they shouldn't show it on socials as the mags will latch on to it and stoke the fire.

It's done, hopefully they learn. We move on.

You saying "Soz" when replying to me seems to have caused me some confusion. I'm sure you can understand.

It’s everyone who replied to me picked up on my last sentence and not what I wrote before. Perhaps everyone should learn?

Their amusement wasn't that we'd had to give them the FA stipulated allocation, or the use of the facilities ...

... they were mainly laughing at the massive paddy some were having.

At the Man Utd v Sunderland semi-final we had a massive allocation, many of their supporters were moved and we had flags all over the place. They even let us use the bars in the ground not to mention putting flags up all over the town centre and the hotel we stayed in. The United lads we drank with, after the game, said it was the best support they'd seen for years.

If the home supporters had caused a fuss we'd have just laughed at them, not their club.
