I thought he did decent/ well to a certain extent early part of the season playing on the right....lost his confidence somewhat when he was shoved up to & believe we did the lad absolutely no favours at all playing him on the left & he really struggled, was completely lost off as thought that stood put in my eyes, at times mundle was on the right & thought it would be a better fit swapping them

If we reverted to wingbacks instead of wingers, Millar wouldn’t join us. He wanted to go back to Preston but they wanted him to play wing back and he wants to play on the wing. So if we are interested in him, it’s a sure sign that we’ll be playing with wingers next season.

Worth remembering that Ba was one of our few players that came away with any credit from the Newcastle game, along with O'Nien who had a solid game and Ballard who had a couple of understandable cockups but did a lot right.

Doesn't mean much but it does suggest his ceiling is high if we can get him to knuckle down and take instruction. Arguably until now we haven't had the right manager to achieve that. I'd like to see how he does under Reggie before making any decision on him.

Ba is more than good enough to play at this level. A league 2 loan is insane

Big season for Ba, 2 years of adjusting now and a French speaking coach with a history of working with young players. I think he’s most useful on either wing, doesn’t protect the ball well enough to play the ten role and not disciplined enough positionally to play deeper. If he can toughen up a bit and sharpen up his finishing I think we have a real player, I’m optimistic about both him and Mundle this season.

    Don’t see us getting both.
The higher ups want us playing 4 at the back

Ba showed plenty of promise, his only 'problem' was consistency...i would like to see him getting a decent run in the team in a position he likes.

much the same as the rest to be honest, adil did plenty right as well, hemir showed that he has the skills to show for the ball and hold it up/pass it...maybe now they will feel a part of the squad now and reggie could be that boost they need to add the little that was missing.

Mirrors my opinion, they've all shown enough to suggest they can cut it so let's give them a fair crack at it now we've got the perfect coach for it. A loan for Hemir is a possibility depending on other transfers but the other two need bedding in imo.

I'd assume Norwood coming in puts an end to the lingering rumour about a Henderson return.

Can't imagine our two top earners are going to be two 33/34 year old centre mids.

Ppl keep saying alese can't play in a 2 but when Ballard got injured against qpr season before last he replaced him alongside batth and he was brilliant. Was best defender in the back 4.

Tell you what a 433 with Norwood as the 6 and Neil and Ekwah/Jobe as the 8’s would be very very good

Think we have a number of options on how we play, Rigg needs/will get more games if he stays. I think Adi is a very talented lad with the potential to be a really good 10....couple experienced additions & couple more additions like we have been making & thats a very very exciting squad for next season

Hopefully the new guy and Speakman has or will sit down with both Rigg and Neil..both outstanding players with huge potential and will be critical to how successful we can be next season

I noticed on Fridays new kit release that our poster boy Jack Clarke was absent from the promo pics. Is it because he's away or still in talks for a new contract. Maybe I'm overthinking as there were lots of other first teamers missing but there's still the away kit and 3rd kit to be promoted I would love Clarke to stay but presumably we have to sell before we buy, let's hope Reggie " same name as her indoors dog " can talk him into staying. This season is massive and we must hope they get the squad sorted and ready to go in August.

I’m in a weird place where I’d rather he went so we can really improve the whole team this window. Millar would be a great replacement and we could sign all the positions we need and quality too
