    Has the club's recruitment department gone on strike? No news north, south, east or even west.

    Young guns Kieron Evans and Tom Davies both sign new 1 year contracts with 1 year options.

    We knew about Evans but Davies, can’t say I’ve noticed his name before. Almost as many first team league appearances as international age caps. A left back so suppose useful to have cover but like Evans presumably will go out on loan.

    A really good workhorse but his goals per season at Championship level isn't all that impressive. If we were to get someone of his age (31), then I would suggest it would need to be someone that can score a few more.

    I've followed Tom Davies for a few years now, as I know his mother and father through a friend of mine. Have seen him play a number of times over the last few seasons and always puts in a good performance in the back line. His time at Kilmarnock was frustrating for him I think as he warmed the bench for most of the season and not always getting a game. Given the opportunity I believe he can succeed, as with young Cian Ashford who is in the same group

    Just googled the shirt and other musicians have also sponsored football clubs
    have a quick look and see if you can see through the fog from last night's excesses and fill in the gaps
    I've left a few initials and a couple of clues to ease the task
    ps.... God knows if you google the answers, God doesn't like cheaters<devil> ...especially on a Sunday :angel:

    Ok as it's Sunday I will confess to using the forbidden google machine, so I wont spoil it for others by posting the answers. However during my research I came across an article in the Guardian from 15 years ago - Disappearing sponsorships and these caught my eye;

    1. Arsenal sponsored by Sega would remove the name whenever they played in Spain as Sega means w**k in Spanish
    2. Clydebank were sponsored by pop group Wet Wet Wet
    3. West Ham were sponsored for five years by Pony, which in cockney slang, pony and trap means crap. I would agree with that.

    And before you ask, BfB, yes I am still watching Glastonbury ;)

    I was until 45 minutes ago. Absolute bilge. Some Nigerian on just now. Couldn't understand a feckin' word. Some skinny black bird before him who again I had never heard of. Her support dancers were feckin' huge. Should have had wide load signs on their backs.

    Now some dyslexic fat bird SZA. Nope never heard of her either.

    Shania Twain earlier. Definite MILF although she's had more work done than the Severn Tunnel. At least I knew a few of her songs.

    Man I feel like a woman. Is that a feminist song or something sapphic? I prefer the second option. And can I watch, please?

    Then where were a couple of whiney whingers. They really should man up and grow a pair.

    A pretty poor show this year. I enjoyed Coldplay last night but that's it. Not even a Rick Ghastley ( who is actually okay) to jolly things along.
