I`ll carry on attempting to jinx Max,although it doesn`t seem to be working.

Seems to be OK to go wrong way on the track and pit lane when you`re the world champion.

A jink only works if you genuinely want a driver to win. That's why I chuck my vote on Max, to prevent the jink elsewhere.

Though I still seem to jink individuals whose names shall not be mentioned.

    It's a curse.

The anti-stall engaged whilst he was trying to leave the pits, so wasn't able to get a lap in for SQ3 (they left it too late, then ****ed up, basically).

Two Maccas in 2nd and 3rd is good early signs for them. Obviously teams will take learn from the sprint for Sunday but if the Maccas are both fast I suspect they might be able to get Max on tyres in the race.

Yet another example of McLaren and Norris's inability to manage a race unfortunately. Has a chance to win the race, doesn't defend properly, then the team inexplicably allows the slower driver to block and kill their chances.

Hope they get their act together tomorrow.

It is a skull you have to learn. People have been trained to trundle about tyre saving and fuel managing for years so thry are quite good at that.

Maccas would do a lot better by telling piastri to stay away from norris and let him chase. Make it a 1/2 driver scenario as thry have a genuine shot at both titles if they can close the gap and take podiums between them.

The team is too inexperienced st the sharp end to realise this imo and both drivers will fight it out with each other when the chance allows.

Ferrari will simply shift sainz if le clerc is in position.

Mercy will keep racing tje two but Hamilton can't get close enough consistently anymore

Perez is a joke. I'll be shocked if red bull win the constructors this year as a result.

Does anyone know what illness Lando is suffering from ? He said earlier on that he didn’t feel well for the last few weeks .

I just wonder if that’s holding him back a little ❓

I think McLaren did the right thing by letting them race. Oscar’s been put in the shade by Norris recently, so this will be good for his confidence. It’s only one point and Oscar earned the place - pissing him off by asking him to give it up at this stage, doesn’t seem wise as McLaren need both cars beating Verstappen to close the gap.

    4 tenths in Austria, jeez.

Can only hope MV is eating his tyres tomorrow as a result of their one lap speed increase.

What the hell is Perez doing blocking that seat FFS. What a waste.

Both were pretty much rookies, unlike Perez who had a few years under his belt when he was trounced first by Button at McLaren and then by Hulkenberg at FI when he was their team-mate.
He only looked good decent against his team-mates when they were Ocon & Stroll.

As well as it`s great to see Bernie on the grid,it`s so good to have a weekend without David Croft.
