Biden couldn't string together coherent sentences, forgot what it was he was saying, and, they're calling it a cold, but it sounded like he was either dying or that they'd dug him up for the debate. So weak and raspy.

He made Trump look incredibly strong. Which in itself is no easy feat giving his conviction and the absolute nonsense he comes out with.

The democrats replace biden or they suffer a historic loss by the looks of it.

Sad to hear, but even a blind man would tell you Biden needed replacing midterm last term

    I wouldn’t bother. It’s such an anti-climax.

I'm a bit nervous about how much gyspy stock is in me. I'm pretty certain it isn't negligible.

Yeah, I am assuming they replace him now and hope it isn't too late. Won't be with Harris as they'd hoped as she is not a popular woman.

Trump should really be a doddle to contend with for anyone lucid. Bizarre they let it get to this.

I’m mainly English, Italian and Iberian with a little bit of Scottish and Irish thrown in.

I already knew this because I’d been told about my family history when I was growing up. The DNA test confirmed it. It was all a bit meh with no great surprises.

I'm English, proud of it and hate John Hall, always have ...

... he's no Mackem and I doubt he has a heart tbh.

He's just another, like Farage, who'll say absolutely anything to get people to believe him imo.

He's from Ashington and watched Newcastle since he was a child ...

... he only pretended to have any interest in Sunderland when he tried to bully Newcastle council into building a new SJP.

'Mr Newcastle and his Geordie Nation' ffs.

The Democrats are so terrified or Trump they haven't been able to think since the mid 2010s.

They still won't learn when he wins. Same plays, over and over again. Trapped.

Coy, why on earth would I want to be coy ...

... it's a little chat forum, not the ECHR, and I'm just posting my opinion.

Hall is out of order because, as usual, he only thinks of himself and ignores the rest of the UK. He only talks about 'the English' because the rest are of no concern, just as he referred to 'The Geordie Nation' and ignored everyone else.

And, it's impossible to know how 'English' all English people are or how white they're supposed to be.

Because of how far back in time you choose to go, and what you think your family history might be your ethnicity can be a matter of choice. The Roman invasion would've most likely have brought Africans, who knows what the Norman invasion brought. I doubt there were many black Viking invaders though <laugh>

Hall doesn't actually say what he wants done, if anything ...

    ... does anyone know?

I'm sure he comes across as a canny bloke, he's a salesman ...

... here's a quote from his maid, Rosa Mitterer <laugh>

"He was a charming man, someone who was only ever nice to me, a great boss to work for.

You can say what you like, but he was a good man to us."

Completely agree. As an experienced Genealogist (not DNA) I had my DNA tested to help breakdown a number of brick walls in my ancestry. As an "extra" the company give you an ethnicity estimate based on a reference panel of other people worldwide, who have submitted their DNA and the results are held in a database. The ethnicity estimates are not to be taken seriously and are little more than a bit of fun.
DNA testing becomes useful in genealogy by allowing you to explore shared matches, helping to breakdown brick walls when other primary evidence is not available and confirming the results of your existing family tree.

It's really depressing looking at the leading 2 candidates of the UK and US. Absolutely no hope for me regardless of who is in power at the moment. Lots of right/far-right candidates getting in across Europe and South America as well. No real options for any centrists or lefties at the moment

People are right when they say he's entertaining ...

... just not in the way they think he is <laugh>

That should be the final nail in his coffin, but as with what happened with Trump it will just fire up his base. Largely unmoderated social media allows them to broadcast this ****e far and wide. Despicable.

Noticed a few minor celebrities who are usually complete Biden sycophants making noises about him needing to be removed.

Why are they far right movements gaining such traction across Europe and here?

It seems to me to be so divisive, so easy to blame a countries issues on people with a different skin tone or nationality.

There's your answer right there, because it's easy. It's not possible to fix the world's problems, the best anyone can do is try to navigate through it whilst being a bit more progressive and respectful of themselves and others along the way (that goes for individuals and governments).

But someone comes along and says "it's really easy to solve all of our problems. They're the ones to blame and if everyone was like us and not like them everything will be better."

It's hard to win against that when you can't offer a total solution in the same way. Serious fixes take time, require continuous work and need compromise. That doesn't sound as easy.
