It could happen but I expect the Italians to ****house their way through. It could be one of thr worst games in the history of football as a qf. But pens would suit both managers imo.
Yeah... Terrible luck to be out by group stages with both. I think a few more people will be completely out after the next round.
BTW... would anyone be interested in doing an "EFL Trophy" version of the pool-prediction league. Same format only each person would get two teams from League 1, two teams from League 2, and one team from Premier League U21 academies. (so 5 teams total- for more chance of having at least one team do well... some teams could be duplicated if more than 12 people sign up but the unique pick of 5 times would be unique to each individual). Would have to change point structure slightly as there is one extra round. Obviously being other English teams- no one would be expected to change their avatar.
Marc Guehi; "we need to be ready to match what they bring" I've nothing against Guehi, I think he's been decent. However, this line is exactly what is wrong with England right now! See first post in thread. 1 point for being eliminated in group stage 2 for round of 16, etc. Plus bonus 10 points for predicting correctly. If you haven't had a team eliminated you won't have any points yet.
