At least you have not got a couple of the BBC ones. They clearly do not seem to know most of the players (they have not done their homework) so there are long periods of silence as players knock the ball around or the former player sat next them in the commentary box has to say something. They have worked for the BBC for quite a while as the two that I have heard during this tournament used to be reporters on Final Score on a Saturday afternoon and probably got switched to commentating for the Women’s Premier League matches that Auntie shows.

On the radio this morning on the sports news, they played a BBC female radio commentator going apoplectic when Italy equalised against Croatia but then followed it up with an Italian male commentator going apoplectic squared (with no mention of Maggie Thatcher or Winston Churchill).

I think a transgender expert on football is long overdue.

    Or have I missed one?

How thick are these politicians caught up in this betting scandal? Clearly have no idea that bookies don’t like gamblers that win. Forget anything else these folk shouldnt be anywhere near a position of power on the basis that they’re thick as ****

Reminds me a bit of the Little Britain sketches - “ At that moment I slipped on the floor and, I regret to say, part of me accidentally entered him”

Even the brain dead electorate would have the sense to send a friend down to Ladbrokes to put the bet on. Putting the bet on using your own account ought to tip the bookies off, so how come so many people seem to have got bets on? The odds cannot have been great given that it was a seven horse race in May and the autumn months would have been the favourites.

I heard this morning that the Scottish Tory MP (is there such a thing?) involved lied about winning £2,100 when it was actually only £100 but he put his bet on in April long before diddy Rishi had been told to call a July election.

Had it been Dame Beer Korma’s MPs trying to put bets on they would have waited until the day after the announcement and the bets would have been for the month of the ‘next General Election’ in 2029 (assuming they last that long). <laugh>

Sleaze factor 10 this election - whatever happened to well intentioned people going into politics to try and do something for the greater good? The whole amphitheater has been given over to a pile of ****.

Embarrassing from Biden last night - they really need to consider swapping him out. He is not going to win over undecided voters with a performance like that

It is all quite laughable how the Western world is completely imploding.

Macron thinks he has laid a trap for the ‘far Right’ by calling a General Election for 30th June in France. The ‘far Left’ have created a coalition to try and stop Rassemblement National so, whichever side wins, Mr Centre Ground is in trouble. The probable consequence is that the ECB will end up punishing France just like it punished Greece in 2015 and Italy in 2018.

On 5th July, Britain will wake up to Dame Beer Korma’s Changed Communists. The election will probably see one of the lowest turnouts in recent memory as many vote for ‘none of the above’. Ironic that the Labour Party, supported by the unions supposedly for the working people, is standing a majority of candidates that have never done a day of actual work in their lives. The reality is that it does not matter which fool is in Downing Street as the Bank of England will really be running the country as it controls the purse strings.

The Daily Star front page headline tells you all you need to know about the choice for Americans in November: the dementia-riddled Sleepy Joe or the orange convicted felon. With America’s debt currently north of $100 trillion, fiscal Armageddon awaits down the line.

258 million adults in the USA and they manage to find the two least suitable to govern. You couldn’t pick a worse candidate randomly.

From that, I conclude that 257,999,998 adults have no wish to be President of the USA
