End of the day the scotch have been utter turd at these championships. They deservedly go out, they’ve stank the place out but the press and pundits will **** themselves into a frenzy about their pluck and grit. Then they’ll harp on about the tartan ****houses and how loud they sing. If England don’t win it we’ll get hammered by the same clowns who laud the scotch and the fact our fans have behaved really well won’t get a mention. Glad the arseholes are going home.
That oaf Angus Gunn again. I actually said on here after the Connolly incident that giving him a free kick for it could empower him to do it again and hurt someone even more seriously. And here we are. That penalty obviously could've been given, but I think the reason it wasn't is that Armstrong made such an effort to initiate contact. He was well clear but jumped backwards in the air to try and be fouled, instead of actually trying to play the ball. If he had tried to actually shoot he'd probably have been fouled naturally. He got what he deserved out of it. Scotland in general are a bleak outfit. The passion is there but every time they're near the goal it's so obvious they have no belief they can score. No amount of time on the ball in the area is ever enough. You knew Hungary would score on that late break, yet when Scotland had their breaks it never felt like it'd come to anything.

I'm very glad that they were humbled as the worst team in the tournament Of course, if any Scotch 'person' were to ask my opinion, I would insist that I was disappointed as it's 'nice to see the little countries do well'. Somehow it annoys them more if they think you're indifferent towards them
