The England camp is an embarrassment at the moment. I don't blame the players, they're doing as instructed / setup to do. It's the same tune coming from the drum, it's been the same tune for the last three tournaments despite how far into the tournament the team may have got; Southgate! Zero passion in the team... No sign of desire... The heart beat is non-existent... How do you expect the fans to get excited and behind a side that appears to be flatter than a three month old pancake? The fans threw cups at you (admittedly, this is unacceptable) because you are making it the dullest team to watch in the entire tournament when we should be enjoying the exciting attacking talent we have!
If it weren't for complications late in second trimester... My wife would have had three kids by then too. (I was 26/27 when she was 24)... Actually would have been four as the second failed pregnancy were twins if another pregnancy hadn't also ended second trimester. Ended up after all that being 30 (wife 27) before we reached three. Conscious choice to have them young so we would still be youthful/energetic if/when we had grandkids. Jokes on us though as none of our kids plan on having kids.
There's a huge element of fear Imo the players do know southgate is off and they can see the tone of the press coming in. They know full well any mistakes and you are guy fawkes to be hung drawn and quartered. They are nervy. Nervy players won't take a risk to go forward.
I think Belgium must be the most overrated team in the history of football. They've achieved less than England (low bar) in the same period.
Slovenia are **** right? They celebrated that like winning it cos it ****ing mattered. England are going to win it but they really don't think they can imo as a result they know what's coming to them. They all know trent and foden got it after the first game. They all know southgate hung trent out to dry I really think at the back of thier minds will have saka abuse over pen miss, Beckham abuse over red card ans so forth and know nobody will defend them. I honestly think fear is massive part of these performances
Have to agree. Complete waste of the so called golden generation thry had. Thry never look like scoring goals.
You may be right. I just think that whatever the shortcomings of the manager, the players should play with passion. There are no leaders there.
The thing is, it's not like the English press are a pack of feral dogs and the rest of Europe are all lovey lovey and incredibly supportive. The Italian & Spanish press make ours look positively supportive. The press reaction is no excuse.
Now I can't get over wondering what woman could enjoy having Foden's sweaty cumface looming over her. I suppose a few million might help...
You are right. They are just as vindictive a media but they are also very very supportive fans right up until the final whistle blows. I do feel the England football fans have lost the type of support that England cricket fans give. There's been some absolutely fantastic support at various matches in this tournament. Turkey for example.
Childhood wag like Rooney. Could you imagine Wayne Rooney's sweaty cumface? Even a few million couldn't convince me that Colleen Rooney isn't very short sighted.
Exactly. I don't think many well balanced women go for football players. I think you have to be a money-grubber to want to be married to someone in that lifestyle. I'm sure there are some decent well balanced women married to footballers but sure there are more just after the money.
Support for underdogs is always boss, you don't expect to win, you hope and it's an experience cheering them on. England where one of the favourites going into the tournament, the talent we have is incredible. It's one thing to be poor, but the fact that England are just incredibly boring to watch is the worst thing. Imagine paying all that money to go to Germany, pay for the tickets, make all that effort to watch stones, rice and guehi pass the ball to each other.
Czechs go out. Now we know - Spain v Georgia Germany v Denmark Portugal v Slovenia France v Belgium Romania v Netherlands Austria v Turkey England v Slovakia Switzerland v Italy
