I also want to manage Sunderland in the Premier League and I didn't even make the worlds longest shortlist. Outrageous.
Those quotes from Yorke are delusional to the point of insanity. He needs a reality check and it doesn't look like being turned down for every job going is enough to do the trick.
Thanks for your input Dwight.....you never stood a chance....now take your delusional negativity and **** off.
I think they've got to be....there has to be some clarity on who's coming in and what are the roles going forward for D and P. I'll feel a whole lot better if RLB has been able to bring his own people in.
"Dwight Yorke is someone who knows Sunderland Football Club very well." WTF! Sunderland have different owners, different manager, different staff, different players and different tannoy system How on earth does he know SAFC 'very well', he only played 59 times for us ... ... that's a really idiotic thing for anyone to say.
apparently bringing his personal advisor a Claude Fauquet with him https://x.com/safcsource/status/1806055243857174588?s=46&t=itPbPLr2e1AP1ZFQlaK-DA Interesting one , a quick read and pretty bad translation from French suggest he is very much like a performance director, seems to have had a lot of involvement in setting up coaching and development structures at lorient in partnership with Le bris. Le Bris does mention the bloke is very much a mentor to him
I think they will get announced when we start spotting them in the background on pre season training photos.
Interesting. Hope we see his coaching team that has been mentioned Fresh ideas needed after the Beale Dodds fiasco
Hopefully the ‘yet’ means they will be coming in soon. Could just be down to contracts getting sorted etc.
Didn't add an awful lot to the sum of knowledge, but did pull together most of what has already been put into the public domain. Not sure what to expect really, but dont expect an instant impact, think he will need time to get ideas across to the players and for Speakman to provide him with some forwards. Hope he turns out like Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and stays in post for years
Such an odd one. Not sure what to make of him. His record beyond that first six months is poor but then, selling his four top scorers is always going to be incredibly disruptive. The way is team went forwards is incredibly exciting. The way they defended, especially the second year with three at the back, looks like the stuff of nightmares. Seems he had a mare with signing players but that isn't his remit here, so who cares. I'm both excited and terrified. I guess we will see what he has learned and how he adapts. Needs a better, more balanced squad than we currently have mind. Three coaches have struggled with it as it is. Do your thing KS, change our minds.
