It isn't terrible. Coventry City vibes but it isn't terrible, unless that's just my mind playing tricks on me having compared it to the truly dreadful home kit.

I agree. Horrible shirt. The badge in the middle is bizarre

It makes it wonky. It's like they're anticipating putting something in it's place.

Ugh, why are we letting the gambling industry get their sweaty, pus-filled tendrils all over our training kits?

I get that we needed to make up the shortfall after Cinch and Getir flamed out mid-contract, but as anyone who ever watches anything on ITVX will tell you this country really needs a long, frank conversation about how much advertising the gambling industry pumps out on a daily basis

Ally Gold’s said we’re close to naming a new sleeve sponsor to replace Cinch and it’s apparently meant to dwarf the £10m a season we were getting from them.

Says the BetMGM training sponsor is worth around £10m a season too.

Just to show the draw of the Premier League, our Cinch deal paid much more than their Scottish one.
They paid us £10m a season for a sleeve sponsorship.
They paid Scottish football £1.6m a season to name all four tiers after the company. Mad.

So one thing has become obvious about our pre-season thus far: we have to have two sets of training kits, as most of the squad have the ones with BetMGM's greasy, pus-filled tentacles slathering all over them - but Academy players such as Mikey Moore and Tyreese Hall don't, as they wear plain kits

I'll leave it to you to decide if this just a first team vs academy thing, or if somebody at the club thought it might not be a good look to have minors wearing the logo of a betting corpo in pre-season galleries...

There certainly was in the 90s as our youth teams had Sega sponsorship while the first team had Holsten all over their shirts, though it's hard to tell these days since we've gone a while without any potentially contentious sponsors

That new sleeve sponsor is Kraken FX. Just announced by Spurs. For both men’s and women’s teams.

Be interesting to find out just how much it’s worth, assume Ally or Dan KP will find out soon.
