Nor me, but clubs in Prem buy their players, then feed down the leagues, plus decide on loans to go out. Very little movement at the moment, same as any tournament year.

Surely he knows if they are signed as being part of the four SL/JL/LM/BT

 

You can laugh at it, but we all know things can fall through quickly. Remember when we signed and then didn’t sign Emad Moteb?

 

I thought he broke his contact by playing for his old club, so we withdrew the offer?. In regards to BT he did make himself look silly.
Personally i take these things with a pinch of salt, I’m but if a cynic, I only believe it when I see players on the roof.

He did indeed break his contract by playing for his supposed former club and I think it was GJ who rightly pulled the plug as he didn't like being taken for a mug. I can't remember him going on to stardom and so good riddance and also I think he thought he was too good for the likes of mere Bristol City. On BT's diatribe today at the HPC (perhaps we need to change that name) it still smells a lot like waffle to me again and I await the excuses when we show up for another season well off the rankings and pace. I wonder how many of these players we are supposedly interested in are actually know the sad stories we have had in our recent past when it comes to signing new players that thrive at Ashton Gate under a system that has been dysfunctional for decades? Will they or won't they, and please no more HNM types please. Onwards and what?

 

It seems more and more likely TC isn’t going to sign if we are persuing so many strikers.

I hope we've done our homework and due diligence on the lad, assuming the story is true of course.

So many foreign players come to the English leagues and don't make any impact, as we know from previous experiences.

 

He’s certainly a big powerful lad, I do worry that as per normal when we play with a big CF we revert to lumping hopeful aerial balls up to them.

 

Sure Manning won't use the long ball game.
I also like his size, useful in both boxes, looks both footed but not lightening quick.
We won't know how good he is till he plays in the Championship, looking at his video seems Yeovil play in front of bigger crowds.
He might be a slow burner.

I note that he isn't "one of the two that have verbally agreed" to join City that BT mentions.
