Positives

 

don't think i could watch another england game in this tourno mind, unless southgate is playing it canny ready to completely change tactics...watching them in that first half was pathetic, play the ball to the side or slightly forward and run 5 yards back so basically making zero ground.

 

I can think of 2 positives.

1. He will surely start Gordon now.

2. I don't have to watch England until Sunday.

 

The subs

 

That was turgid at best… bloody awful

 

Shame it took 70 mins to sub on Palmer and 87 mins to sub on Gordon.

 

I honestly think dodds could do a better job than Southgate.

 

I'd start Gordon, Palmer and Mainoo in the next match. Give Bellingham and Saka a kick up the arse and Foden a chance at 10.

 

He'll play exactly the same starting eleven on Sunday. Maybe Trent in for Gallagher when realistically you could completely justify changing six or seven.

It's the definition of insanity.

 

What have you been drinking

 

Eh? For the role Mainoo came on to do we could have got Gordon on, moved Foden centrally and Bellingham just ahead of Rice.
