Kalman..... are you ailing for something.... we all want the same thing, a successful team, but you have us down for relegation before a ball has been kicked... every post is 'oh woe is me'.... scores of teams in the divisions other than the Premiership will be having their best players cherry picked, its what helps them survive due to the financial disparity between the haves and have nots. Just wait and see who arrives. And as for the mistakes made in the transfer market, I can promise you, there are clubs that have made a much bigger Horlkicks than Acun and his team have. One sale will wipe out any inbalance in fees paid for players who haven't worked out., Oh and as for somemone mentioning Smallwood again... HEAD WOBBLE
Used to disagree with Kalman on a lot of things in here but he’s right for pointing out some of the worrying trends that until September 1st probably won’t be addressed. If we have another summer window like 22 I fear we’d be a struggling team
Where does the Norwood or Zajc ideas come from , are people speculating because in some texts it appears we’ve already sorted them? Have’nt heard a thing , are these just guesses? Acun please tell me .
I guess Zajc is originated from traditional Fenerbahce offload to Hull, on the other hand Norwood is free agent and his club is not signing.
When talking about Zajc, are we talking about a 29 year old from Fenerbache? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miha_Zajc
Had us 14th last season based on the the premise we hadn't replaced Smallwood. Glad someone else has identified a very narrow, premature and belligerent mindset without even knowing what the squad will look like going into the season. That said, the rebuild is now seemingly greater. It was big enough churn before we replaced the manager, binned an established first team goalkeeper and our existing contracted top scorer. The decision appears to have been made to clear the decks. Lot of work to do ahead of august to keep the stadium full and optimistic.
Yes. Acun has expressed a desire in the foreign press to work with him either here or eventually at Maribor. Solid stats in Serie A. Versatile, technical player. Decent option on paper.
The more I think about this Tufan business the more insane it becomes. Either, the reported fee is total bollocks, or there’s some brown envelopes being passed around somewhere. Either way, even if the player wants the move, there’s no way I can see the club letting him go for such a paltry sum. There’s gotta be a lot more going on there. If we’re in a tight FFP position the absolute last thing we would be doing is giving away one of our most talented and valuable assets for next to **** all. I think we just have to trust the club with this one.
