Part of the problem is that the on-field officials gave it offside, so it became a question of whether it was a clear and obvious error, in order to overturn it. Most people want a high bar for interventions because frequent VAR decisions are annoying. But then in this case we'd probably prefer it to have intervened because the on field officials disallowed a goal that really wasn't unfair at all. VAR is a mess, the offside rule is also a mess. I've never liked goals being disallowed for an offside player who doesn't touch the ball, but I think I'm in a minority on that.
It’s one thing if he’s blocking the keeper or something. But if he’s just making a run or something it’s bullshit when they call it offside for affecting the play. VAR is also a pile of dogshit.
I was losing all will to live watching that ****e, most boring game so far and I’m including England’s crap game because at least the danes played like they wanted to win…. French and Dutch two of the most arrogant nations going, ****ers!!!!!
