Depends what level you look at it from. It's not a false picture that we did badly. That's undeniable. There's plenty of other stuff about the detail of what happened that is pure conjecture.
After the Sheff Wed game I saw him - bold as brass - walking along Seaburn promenade with his wife and kids. Brazenly enjoying some family time when the ****ing little **** should have been at his desk phoning round available Head Coaches. The ****ing waste of space, taking the piss out of us by spending time with his kids. The bastard
If it is Le Bris, let’s get behind the lad and hopefully it works out. For Speakman’s sake it has to work, same goes for any appointment.
Whoever gets the job, we the fans have to get behind him, even if we want to or not. We can't be seen to be chasing another manager away before he's been given a fair chance. We were very lucky that we had enough points to keep us up last season and to put a new manager under unnecessary pressure could prove to be disastrous.
He took a good deal of grief I heard. Some maybe deserved but he’s on a night out regardless of the location.
can we just agree that many of us will have heard different things regarding whats going on at SAFC, some of it may be right, some maybe poop, some may have elements of both, no matter who comes they will be given the backing of the fans, surely? we need to be united as 1 going foward, forget what has happened/happening. Everything happens for a reason.
https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/regis-le-bris-tactical-analysis-scout-report-tactics Here’s a bit of a write up, the bit below sticks out. “His extensive background in working with young players may partially explain his success with the joint-fifth youngest squad in Ligue 1 this term.”
I’ll be more surprised if it is today than if it isn’t, very few leaks. even with the clubs improved approach to keeping things like this quiet stuff normally gets leaked the day or so before it happens. At this rate I’ve no confidence we will have anyone in when the players return from pre season.
If it’s Le Bris then it wouldn’t surprise me if we were waiting for his exit at Lorient to be to be sorted. It seems he’ll be resigning officially today so, unless there’s also something in the work permit stuff, then my guess is he’ll be in over the weekend at least.
It's proof he values Dodds and Proctor as part of our coaching set up and wants to keep/develop them. Whether that's right or wrong is up for debate. If it has cost us coaching appointments it looks stubborn and foolish if we end up with an inferior coach, if not then it's sticking to a vision which isn't necessarily a bad thing. While we know as little as we do there are several answers to every question and they range from Speakman being an arrogant savant to some sort of modern day footballing visionary. But we know **** all and anything that states one way or the other as a definitive truth is pretty easy to disregard.
He did. Normally I would say that's out of order however , a good few people at Safc have now left SAFC and that has been down to him. People who were there before him and good grafters. So frankly, I won't share any tears for any grief he took.
He needs binning like. He's the wrong fit for this club - billy bullshitters and management textbook reciters don't go down well in this neck of the woods When we appoint the HC and he tries to tell us all that he or she was "always our no.1 choice" then I may chuck my laptop out the window.
the holding midfielder stuck out for me…..one that he has one and that it is so crucial to his style when we don’t have one and secondly the name of that holding midfielder Bonke Innocent, what a great name
