Speakman gets a lot of flack for not compromising on control etc... I've said this before but surely KLD has wants Speakman to work to that 'model'. Otherwise he would have but binned ages ago?
Definitely the fans. I don't like Nixon, but have to respect the fact he just posts a load of fiction/guesswork online and makes a living from it.
What control won't he compromise on? If the club are going for people who want to be in charge of player recruitment, they're targeting the wrong candidates. As has been said a million times before, its not an unusual way of working and there are plenty of people out there familiar with working that way. If it's not player recruitment, what can it be?
Mate I have no idea, some are saying control is sticking point. Others say it's that Dodds has to be involved. I just look at it and think if any of its true its not all Speakman, KLD can't be blameless. He is either letting Speakman do what rbe **** he wants or (the more likely scenario imo) he has give Speakman a brief of what he wants and Speakman is executing it. But I know nowt and only go off what is said by people and opinions differ so who knows what's really going on.
Nixon saying we’re after a “foreigner nobodies heard off” and stating it as a negative versus paying out for Cifuentes, when this time last year Cifuentes was exactly that “foreigner nobodies heard off”, is funny.
Said it before, I reckon Speakman is a pain in the arse but I also think there's a few having their chains yanked and/or got a bee in their bonnets about Speakman.
It all sounds like guesswork to me, think this thread proves that no one has a clue exactly what is happening.
Honestly, it depends if someone will agree to No. Mowbray, Beale, Dodds, 120 days still no permanent head coach. Speakman can **** off.
