when i saw the reports saying england were one of the faves to win...i was convinced i had missed something, but these two games have shown me that i was right.

pathetic triangles while all staying in the same place, not moving or going past players, complete lack of concentration and no real tactics...we might, just, get out of the group but there has to be some big changes.

I will leave you to criticise Southgate and his tactics. Dont let pre-conceived opinions of him blind you about what has happened tonight.

The average score wouldnt be better than 6 for the side. They have individually and collectively been very below par. I lost count of how many times we gave it away or made terrible passes. Players like Kane passing it to them for their goal, Rice passing it out for a corner. The list is endless. I cant think of a single good piece of play. Then you add energy levels and desire of players.

Southgate may have to do better, but honestly the players need to look at themselves tonight. Not to say Denmark are not a good side, of course they are. Tournaments arent won by winning first two group games. We are in control of the group, and unlikely the players can make the many many mistakes in possession they made again in one match.

We’re not getting far past the second round. One of the worst performances I’ve ever seen at a tournament that.

Algeria in 2010 probably only just beats it.

Really? No accountability at all from the "superstars" on display?

Lord mate. That performance was stinking. Defensive, slow and the same it's been for a while. Kane dropping too deep. Gallagher on, cole Palmer not getting a sniff. 1 up front.

Not sure how much you need.

No. Lead by a clueless melt who couldn't do it himself and is so so defensive here.

The talent we have and we produce this.

Southgate is ****e but I tell you that lot out there tonight didn’t fancy it.

walker in deflection mode here, no Kyle I don’t expect you to steam roll teams at all I expect a joined up performance with some semblance of plan, effort, positive attitude and attacking threat

If they are that talented then surely they take the fame by the scruff of the neck and lead from the front?

Of course they do. Each of them played within themselves.

I remember Souness speaking about Joe ***an before making his debut.

Souness to ***an "How do you want me to play"
***an to Souness: "We've paid all this money for you and you don't know how to play?"

Ridiculous to say the manager is the only one to blame.

Chunk Southgate is beyond defending, he picks the team, sets the system of play and tonight is the first time he's ever changed so early in the game with no improvement whatsoever. He should walk asap.

    Was taking the piss fella.

    My answer is no.

We are fundamentally set up wrong. With the wrong players.

    Head coach to blame.

Southgate has run his course with England like, to be fair to him he has done a decent job overall but I feel like we're playing a style of football from 2019.

If it’s the players fault and not the managers we’ll all be in agreement that Beale and Dodds are decent managers but the players let them down..
