Seems to be the archetypal backup goalkeeper.

So if we have in fact finally got our man, if we work this back, wasn't Cifuentes asking for Poyet as DoF?

Well if it’s the work permit they’re frustrated with, it would suggest it’s all sorted (pending that being granted)

Why couldn't it be Le Bris that Fishpaste is on about?

He's not from here nor has ever worked here has he?

It rules out Cifuentes, and Maric though.

Seems like Cifuentes needed a work permit to go to QPR from Hammarby.

Would it be just a refresh rather than a new one?

I think you'd need a new work permit if you change jobs so could still be cifuentes - like when players who are playing in england still need international clearance - could be wrong

Under tier 2, the person can stay in the UK for three years with a possible extension for another two years.

This would rule out Cifuentes as his would still be valid. It would also rule out Maric as his would also still be valid (until 2025).

I could be totally wrong about all this like, and you might need to re-apply if you've moved teams.

If you have a work permit sponsored by a company (like most foreign managers do), if you change jobs, you have to reapply for your permit to be sponsored by the new company. Therefore, this could refer to any non-UK national whether they are in UK based work or not.

Work permit could still be Cifuentes. He'd need a new one for every job he has
