I had surgery I have a perfectly normal situation now ... I know it kills the fun but it was purely cosmetic... minor if you like... I'm too honest.

The behaviour of some England fans at Euro 2024 is under scrutiny after a number were filmed singing a controversial chant referencing German casualties in World War Two over the weekend.

So why does it still happen, will it continue to be sung and what can be done?

Despite an appeal by both British and German police for fans to refrain from doing so, BBC Sport witnessed the '10 German bombers' chant being sung in the German city Gelsenkirchen on the day of England’s opening match against Serbia on Sunday.

Then on Wednesday afternoon, BBC Sport filmed some England fans directing those chants at a group of passing Germany supporters in the centre of Frankfurt.

Solid enough appointment. It also frees Potter up for Sunderland :emoticon-0138-think

Have Chelsea even got a manager nowadays? I'm finding it hard to keep up...

I think you’re putting a brave face on it Fosse.
I personally think it’s a dreadful appointment, a championship manager at best.

a good appointment maybe, how will he galvanise the squad if they start/get hit with a points deduction. He did well to bring Forest up/stay up. The massive influx of players did t help what unity he would have had, don’t think he had a say in signing most.

Surprised Leicester went for Cooper, I thought it would be Potter and that it would have been a good fit.

I think Cooper’s a really decent manager but looking at that Leicester squad and what he had at Forest, it’s hard to see what he’s gonna be able to do with it. If they’re hit with a points deduction as well then they’re 100% back down.

I used to play with that bloke. Not really fat, but either still drunk from the night before, or if it was the evening he'd had a couple of cans on the bus. Was basically a **** George Best, also Irish as it happens.

No mate - as I said - underwhelming but always prepared to give them a chance - he got Forest up and kept them there - next season will be all about survival ... so looks very much like we've cut the cloth accordingly ...

Posted yesterday - Potter seemed to baulk when he realised he'd lose his continuing Chelsea pay-outs by signing a contract ... that's the Rumour that was circulating..

Not sure that would be correct, my belief how these things work are for example, he has 3 years of his Chelsea contract leftvat £100k pw, and he signed a 3 yr contract with you at £50k pw, Chelsea still have to make up the difference until his contract with them expires. In this case £50k pw.
Only way I could see it being a problem is, decanted a 4 Yr contract with you and he'd want the full £100pw in Yr 4 from you, which you may reject
