Not posted for a while but the bit in bold is probably the most important part of your post, we have had to put in foundations and most of our team last season were able to play U23's and considering our U23's did quite well with a lot of layers that were eligible in the first team speaks volumes for the work that has been done on those foundations. just over 2 years ago our foundations were crumbling with a lot of the posters who are now complaining about other issues screaming for a plan and for solid foundations. We have that foundation now and a plan but unfortunately as is always the case people will look for the cracks that they can complain about. I am not saying everything is perfect and I am frustrated at times but I also believe a bit of patience is required and a bit more thought put into what we believe (on twatter or whatever it is called now) as opposed to what we know! there are too many people jumping on too many pieces of conjecture and then slowly coming to conclusions that then become fact. Like Rosenior turned us down? that is not known and there has been no statement from the club regarding this, for all we know he may of been interviewed or he may not have been, we may not have been impressed with him and said no thanks or he may have decided that he was not happy with an offer the truth is we don't know, but it has been paraded as fact that he turned us down and this has led to a number of posts regarding this which TBH are ill informed or thought out along with a lot of other posts referencing everything from KLD is a cheapskate and needs to get out of our club to we have been turned down by 4 or 5 managers.
Good morning SAFC fans we live in hope, that today brings a brighter and more relaxed time for our club. If nothing is leaked/ announced today/tonight I'm sticking my head in the oven. Off to work early finish shower on the lash. Come on England.
Agree100%. These players have great potential but have no experienced players around them to learn from and bounce off
Same fella. We really do need things ( on a couple of different fronts) to be brought to a conclusion by today / tomorrow. Start next week strong.
Okay, no problem, I believe otherwise and until I hear a direct quote from him, or Bob confirms, his days are numbered.
You don't need to prove yourself to anyone just because you have a different view, it'd be extremely boring if we all completely agreed on everything.
In general most transfers of young players are a risk and I would think if you get 1 in 3 right you will be doing very well indeed as for every Jude Bellingham there is a number of failures. That is football and not every transfer will be a success. I think our ratio is probably better than most and whilst it is under the microscope because our young players have had to carry the first team burden we as fans should not underestimate how well the work has been done and we may well not see the fruits of that labour for a few years yet if at all, but we have taken the chance and need to give them the time to develop.
