Pep could take over tomorrow and we could sign Haaland on Friday and you would still twist. Chill out sit back and enjoy the ride
It’s not ****, it’s just not very well balanced, lacks experience, a proper defensive midfielder and a decent centre forward. Other than that… Let’s see who we bring in as gaffer then we can worry about the squad.
Haway mate, I don't think our squad is as good as it could be but I see no QPR players who they will be getting £10m+ bids for this summer, whereas Clarke, Neil, Patterson, Ballard and Jobe will all have serious interest at that price point or more and then Hume and Ekwah would also fetch more than most of their squad. There was a reason we were in and around the playoffs with a component head coach (Mowbray) and even with Beale we were picking up points that would've kept us in the top half. And that was without players in key positions. We aren't far away at all and the evidence proves that. A good head coach that fits the squad, a forward that fits the system, a midfielder to complement Neil and a couple older heads and I think we'll be absolutely fine.
KLD has made mistakes, he knows it and last season hurt him big style not just us! He deserves the opportunity to put things right and he intends to, can’t please everyone unfortunately. If your not happy come end of August then fair enough, I think most proper supporters will be.
That's the consensus mate. However, lads are unwilling to stick their necks out because there's been quite a few u-turns and goal posts moved so far, so now it's a case of we wait and see as egg ok faces isn't something folk want. lol
None of the above matters if that in bold doesn’t happen. Let’s see what the next few days (hopefully not weeks) brings, then the discussions around our squad will start… My main point was the experience they’ve got. Totally opposite to what we have and their older heads would’ve helped massively in the situation Cifuentes walked into.
That in bold just makes zero sense. What’s a ‘proper supporter’? Someone who’s happy with our business, even if it’s ****e? I’ll be happy if we sign well, but if we don’t then I’ll still be there most weeks being a ‘proper supporter’ …
I like a lot of what they’ve done and can see what they are trying to do moving forward but at the moment the trust and goodwill they built up has gone. I just think they are making things much harder than they need to be with inflexibility and some pretty poor decisions. I hope they appoint someone brilliant and back the fella in the market but we are at the time where actions speak louder than words imo.
Not watching that in case I get drawn in and fully on the Martí bus……was burned with maric and still hopefully I’ll be able to watch it if he is appointed
