I am not a fan of international football and really could not give a s*** about the national team. However, being abroad I thought I'd fly the flag in a local drinking establishment yesterday. I managed to get a guy to put the England game on one of the channels, he was very bemused when I told him I have no interest in watching Flamengo. I have to say that Saka was decent but him aside it was a very flat performance, a bit like Brazilian .
Agree. But rest him when we can. He’s in danger of burning out if he plays every game. Remember he’s only 20. If Foden can’t step up when he’s playing alongside Bellingham then he should become the fallback option.
Lukaku is Carl Leaburn with a brilliant agent. He certainly ran up to form yesterday with a shocking display of finishing.
I tend to cheer for the underdogs. The better teams are expected to win. And the Scots fans have done their Nation proud again. Good luck to them. If they can stay in party mood until the last group game it does the tournament good in my view.
I must add to @The Penguin to please not take the anti Scotland cracks to heart. There is too much anger and upset being thrown atm.
Can't see it. The rot has set in. The awfulness against Germany means morale must be rock bottom, and the Swiss are a decent side.
