How can you pass comment on a player that you haven’t seen yet? It is nonsensical. It’s like passing comment on a Rishi Sunak speech when you haven’t heard it yet.
I wasn't previously aware that I had to have watched a player before I could comment on him. If that's the case I won't be commenting further on Alfie May, or any other Charlton player who joined the Club after November 2022, which was the last time I went to the Valley to see a game. Indeed I withdraw any previous comments I have made about May or any of those other players. Of course only fans who have seen players in action should be allowed to talk about them. What was I thinking.
Every new signing starts with a clean slate. NJ knows the player and believes he can do a job. That's good enough for me.
It’s really not nonsensical at all is it. I hadn’t seen Panutche Camara play before I was slagging off his signing and saying we shouldn’t be signing players like him, but I turned out to be absolutely spot on again. Experience, intelligence, common sense and an ability to make accurate deductions based on available information are all just as valid as seeing a player in the flesh. But I suppose if you don’t have any of the former, then you have to just rely on the latter.
I presume the snide comment has come from either Uber or the poison dwarf. Knock yourself out lads. You are both on ignore so you can post what you like.
Yep. And they’ll keep coming as long as the two antagonists keep criticising this forum and the posters on it. All this division between posters started 6 weeks ago when WUM and DP returned. Their return has been very bad for this forum in my opinion. And how pathetic to join a forum and then not be willing to debate with its members.
My comment clearly isn’t meant as an opinion on the way Curbs, or indeed any other professional football manager, goes about their business. None of us are qualified to comment in that way. It was a reply to yet another post from one of Romeo or Juliet which was critical of Lardi’s perfectly valid opinion about a new signing. I really don’t understand why they rejoined when all they do is talk about ITWV’s and the posters on there or criticise this forum and its regular posters. Unless they’re just on a wind up until they p*ss off back to their beloved forum.
Excellent news that we on the verge of signing the Scottish full back Completely understandable & classy that Millwall don’t want to discuss transfers given what’s happened this week.
In Lardy we trust to decide who does or doesn't post. I've said several times that CL has the right idea. They have a rule that you don't mention other forums, but I get shouted down. CL is by far the most successful forum BTW. OK so some people talk crap shock horror, don't we all?
Personally I think a bigger problem is having posters who constantly criticise the perfectly valid views of others, make snide and insulting comments about other posters and then when they’re called out for it, just ignore the person calling them out and the evidence proving that they’re talking b*llocks and then just come out with a new lot of b*llocks the next day and start the cycle all over again. I’ll continue to call it out, regardless of them not being man enough to respond or disagree, but if it carries on unabated with no intervention, then I’ll tire of the pointlessness of challenging it.
