Nice easy start with Liverpool (1230 tv game) and Man City 1st games out the blocks. Now seems more real
I was looking for the games against the Norwich scum and then I remembered......normal service has resumed and they are in the division below us!!
Great fixtures. We can have a big party for our opening game and a trip to see Pep and then it's down to business with a run of winnable games.
Just the start we need, show the big boys what we are up to! Very excited, if you told the gaffer 2 years ago, this is who we open the season with, you would have got a rude reply!
We might as well get the blue smoke batons on order. Constantine Road is going to be absolutely packed come 11am on opening day.
It's best to get these two games out of the way to start with and if we get anything out of them then it will be a bonus! These aren't the games that we need to be winning to stay up so it will be a free hit.
Sala, Diaz, Nunez, Harland, De bryne, Foden, etc all in the first two games, i think Woolfy and co might need a hand.
Very much depends what you mean by 'normal service', as you've had 5 previous seasons in the PL compared to our 10. Still, you're there now. Looks like a difficult but exciting start. Enjoy!
A brutal first two games that will throw us into Premier League football head first in the deep end. A wish of mine is that teams will take a while to suss out 'McKennaBall', so bring them on - not expecting any points from either of those first two games though. Reading through the fixtures really does underline how difficult this season will be. I think we have been fortunate with an easier-looking run in at the end of the season.
