that and the Wolves home game were both so bad. The Wolves game is probably the worst game I’ve ever seen in 30 years of following this team, and that is saying something
We seldom win our first game of the season, so quite happy to be away. Gonna take it one game at a time and see how it goes.
Just seems a bit weird that you have all that build up to it being the last game, then you play it and you have all the emotions tied in to the day and then you have to go and play away on the last day of the season. Would seem more obvious to have everything around the last game being tied in with the final day.
The Wolves game I thought we played okay in the first half? Going 1 up and Lemina getting sent off. Obviously it was the mother of all pathetic collapses second half. Maybe I've just shut it out mentally. All I can recall of the Forest game was us hoofing it forward and Forest badly clearig their lines on repeat for 90 minutes. They had one half decent breakaway for the only goal of the game before we really ramped up the pressure with some more aimless long balls forward.
Howe won't play any new signings either 1st game so you'll have a suspect side defensively to attack.... not many sides win at St James mind. I will return for the match thread to be as much of an annoyance as possible and Im pleased to see you guys back...
