2024/25 fixture release

Relegation party?

 

Last game at Goodison Park.

 

Hopefully they don’t get relegated then, probably burn the city down if they did

 

They're due to move into their new stadium mid-season aren't they?

 

1st up: Easy United
2nd up: Even Easier City

 

That was original plan but sure I read that they changed it to beginning 25/26 somewhere and the Everton fan on this forum seems to think they'll be at Goodison all season.

 

I was going to predict 1st game home to Skates, 2nd away to Plymouth, but that isn't going to happen, so home to Man City first, and away to Newcastle 2nd. Final game away to Brentford...

 

Dont really have a preference as long as it isn't a City/Arsenal/Liverpool as always seems to be the case for the opening game of promoted sides these days.

Fully expecting the opening fixture to be one of City, Liverpool, United or Arsenal against either us, Leicester or Ipswich.

Allegedly. That would be a fun game though, assuming our fate either way has already been confirmed.

Not a bad one to get out of the way early if true.

 

And Arsenal at home final day....

 

Not too sure where they're getting this from, mind you.

 

It would be quite amusing if they were totally wrong.

 

This will please Libby if true.

 

I always feel it is best to start with an easier fixture to get points on the board. Pressure can build early if there are no wins after 3 or 4 games.

 

If true I might keep my season ticket just for that reason.

 

Well yes, if we then have City at home the following game that wouldn't be ideal.

 

I want the 1st game to be away v someone we can get tickets for so we can get to away games again
