How far the Scottish league has fallen when a lad can score 15 for an average team up there and be valued at 1.5m. Madness that.
It's hard to judge imo. Scoring goals for an average team isn't like playing for Celtic ... ... SKP didn't really impress until he came here and Quinn was supposed to be finished. I live in hope that things aren't always as clear as they seem.
Yeah he is an improvement on them but lets be honest thats not saying much at all Bair is a decent enough player but I honestly think there is better out there- obviously depends on what the budget will be
Hope I'm just being cynical but I can see him signing for a big club on more money and uses the head coach as an excuse!
He’d be off now if money was his sole motivation. Man Utd offered him more than 30 grand a week, a fortnight ago.
He'll probably already have had offers from bigger clubs (none of us know), but he'll know that his earnings will have a very high potential level in the future, as well as having a blinking good level now. He'll also know 'where his bread's buttered' as far as playing time is concerned so he'll be patient and loyal as much as he can (and his advisors will allow)
If that's true that is crazy money. If he turns it down shows a lot about the lad. I hope I'm just being pessimistic about big clubc and big money and all the lad is waiting for is assurances he will get playing time from the new head coach!
Hopefully mate. I was told a couple month ago everything was agreed with the club and he’d be signing. Then I was told about the Man U offer and he was then undecided on what he was doing. I think he’ll end up staying. Hope so, anyway. I also know the club have got his da scouting now. Not sure if that’s just to keep Chris happy or what because I’d not have him scouting for my street team.
I cannot bear to think of the reaction if the lad left, we are teetering on the wrong side of batshit mental as it is.
Easy job for his old man? I imagine he has some influence over him aswell, will help him decide. Makes sense to get minutes at SAFC before moving onto the big clubs, easy to look back and see plenty of players that halted and in most cases did long term damage to their careers by going for the money early on!
Thirty grand a week this summer to get nowhere near the first team or quite a bit more next summer with a decent Championship season under his belt.
What player would sign not knowing who the manager/head coach will be? Can't see any agent agreeing to it.
Apart from the expected outgoings who else would people like to see "moved on" I would let Ba, Embelton, Semedo, Matete, Rusyn & Bennette all go.
I dont want Ba to move on, theres a player there n he def improved last season just needs to kick on again If rusyn is struggling to settle id sell him Permanently leave would be: Bass Anderson Matete Embo Jewi Rusyn (as mentioned above) Loan moves: Hemir Triantis Johnson Young Mayenda Watson (this would depend on who comes in n goes in the wide positions) Kelly If the offer is right: Jobe (anything around 20 million) Roberts (anything above 6 million) Probably missing a couple obvious ones
