It's been pretty good. Not going to dominate every minute. Guehi's looked good in defence. Bellingham on a different planet to everyone else.
Agree. Not getting into position to score and not dropping back to help. Not offering anything at all.
Still don’t think Trent is a CM and with that we look light in the midfield. Trippier restricts us at left back and has been shown up a couple of times in defence. Foden is having another average game for England but is that down to the tactics? Kane anonymous but we are playing very few direct balls in the middle so we aren’t going to see him getting many touch. We are doing a lot of side ways and backwards passing.
Strange performance. Passed it around really nicely until the goal. Then really disjointed since. Noticed players stood on top of each other several times in midfield as if they don’t know their position, and players making the same movement in the box up front, wasting good chances created by Saka who has been very positive. We have nothing on the left and Kane is invisible up front. Defence a bit too passive for me, and midfield went missing a few times towards the end of the half. Need an early second. Goes without saying but Bellingham has been head and shoulders above everyone else.
Serbia look the much better team this half. Is Gareth waiting for them to equalise before making some changes.
