He isn’t, in my opinion, very good. The one thing I remember about him is when Patrick Viera arrived at Man City after a while Richards said to him how he admired him and wanted to have a career like him. Viera replied “If that is the case why are you the last to arrive at training and the first to leave?”.
Roy Keane said to him on air a couple of years ago Why aren’t you on the pitch at 33 ? be cause he’s ****ing useless in the studio Just awful irritating laughter
Can’t stand watching Roy Keane. Far too serious and even if his punditry is good - switches me off because he looks like he’s bored and angry to be there. Micah’s punditry might not be as good but I much prefer to watch him. I want to be entertained and watch people enjoying themselves - not taking it far too seriously.
Each to their own but I'd take Keane's knowledge of the game and candid opinion any day against Micah Richards chuckle...
Oh his opinions are better absolutely no doubt but life is serious enough before you have to deal with Keane’s angry about everything attitude. I want to watch to enjoy, not to feel like everything’s not good enough.
Theres been a wave of taking football far too seriously over the last 10/15 years and Keane is the personification of that for me. It’s my hobby and I want to enjoy it not stress about it or watch someone criticising everything that moves. Maybe it’s living through the Allam era I don’t know.
