Free agent midfielder Tyreeq Bakinson is in advanced talks over a move to League One's Wycombe Wanderers, FootballTransfers understands.

The 25-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Sheffield Wednesday following the expiry of the contract he signed in 2022.

Not heard anything yet, I reckon Franco will stay and Chris will move on. If Chris had a better injury record he would be top championship material.

I agree with that comment Cardiff hat is what's holding Forino back

Forino is good but he has been here for 3 seasons and made 75 appearances. GMac has been here for 4 seasons and made 152 appearances

I haven't looked at all the squad but 25 appearances a season (average) doesn't look too god a value financially

& some of those were probably coming as a sub, in Forino defence I would say he has more competition for a place starting games than GMac

Uche has signed for St Johnstone. I liked him for us and when he recently played against us for Vale, however his stats are poor and I think we can aim for better. In fact, I’m hoping Kone gets a good chance and run in the starting 11.

Hmmm. I wonder why he chose Bolton over Wycombe. Offer he couldn't refuse? More chance of promotion? Only a half hearted offer from Wycombe? Maybe we'll find out one day

Probably more money as well as a better chance of promotion, only in May 2025 will we find out if it was the right decision

Yep. 3 year contract. If we ever intended to give him a 3 year contract it would have been done long before his contract expired. So it was probably a no brainer for him

The thing is we also have Taff, Low & McCarthy who play as centre backs as well

Picking 2 out of Low, Hartridge and Taff will be tough, if 2 or more are injured then we have McCarthy and Grimmer. Or even some of the youngsters. I think we are well covered at centre back.
