    Most of what is wrong with the World, in a screen-cap from the BBC News website;

    !!04.png

They have a page of icons (5 or 6 across the screen width) which viewers can click on to get more details of the illustrated story.
Occasionally two adjacent icons add up to more than either story says by itself.

There are two sides to this 'police car rams cow' story...

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cnkkp7eejyqo

Of course it is regrettable to see an animal injured.
But here in the UK four or five people (on average) are killed by incidents involving Cows each year.
Granted mostly on farms and involving farm workers - though their lives are as important as anybody else's.
But members of the Public have also been fatally attacked by Cows; presumably trampled or charged.

These are large and potentially very dangerous animals.
Their placid reputation and rose-tinted image as gormless, harmless farm animals is comforting for kids, but not aligned with reality.
The Police have a duty to protect the Public.
If this stray Cow had trampled some kids in the street, who would be getting brickbats for not looking out for them?
    The Police.

So get off their backs James Cleverly.
Former publishing manager and private schoolboy from Lewisham.
Neither of us knows anything about farming and precious little about the pressures Police are under every day.

A sensible comment from someone who knows a lot about farming and keeping cattle….

More evidence if any were needed that Paula Vennells and her chums are serial liars.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cyddlynqlryo

Sadly I still expect she will escape prosecution.
People like her have a way of wriggling off the hook.

These people are truly beyond tiresome...

Orange paint all over Stonehenge, two days before the Solstice.
What have the Druids done to upset these morons?
I thought the Old Religion was mostly about tree-hugging.

Nat West about to buy Sainsbury's Bank

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czqqzlw0159o

This is what happens when businesses who usually do other things open their own Banks.
When the going gets a bit tough they chuck it in.

If all those Sainsbury's Bank customers had wanted to be Nat West customers they would have joined Nat West.
Now they will have no choice.

This has happened to me several times down the years, with accounts or credit cards.
I've ended up as a customer of a Company that has bought out other providers, with no choice in the matter.
    Annoying :headbang:

Somebody at the Post Office is taking the p**s now

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czqqzlw0159o

The Post Office has launched an urgent investigation
after it accidentally published the names and addresses of 555 postmasters
    prosecuted during the Horizon scandal.

This only happened on Wednesday, and it was first highlighted by the Daily Mail.
I don't often say this - but well done the Daily Mail <applause>

These Hospital hackers are utter scum.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9ww90j9dj8o

They are terrorists and they should be hunted down like dogs.
We here in the UK need to tighten up security around HNS information. And all other sensitive material.
Hackers need to know they'll be caught.
And when they are, the won't get a slap on the wrist.

Put them on a list along with people smugglers like Scorpion.
The send the SAS out to track them down and put them down.
And make it clear to everyone that they'll get the same if they try it on again.

Then send the SAS out to track them down and put them down.

I agree they are the pits of the World. But a bit excessive I would say.

    Perhaps.
I'm so tired of these scum getting away with disgusting crimes.
Maybe just wound them a bit. Give them a severe talking to.
Hand them over to Millwall fans <ok>

I agree more severe penalties are needed - they know prisons are full and even if they do get sent down they get the use of gyms, pool tables , TV’s etc etc - there’s no deterrent

I was listening to an expert and he said they are criminals operating from Russia. Putin ain't gonna stop them, quite the reverse.

Anyone who attacks a hospital is the lowest kind of scum.
If they are Russian operatives then I return to the SAS option. Smiert Spionam :emoticon-0160-movie 007 :bandit:
