Quite a few rugby players as well. You do wonder if it the strain they put on their bodies physically, or some other factor?
Rugby players in particular are expected to be bigger, faster and more physical. Just look at them now compared to 30/40 years ago. You have to ask if that is a natural progression, "something else" or an excess of physical work and development? More than their bodies are designed to do. Football less so although more speed and distances covered are regarded as essential. Hence more heart related problems coming to the fore.
Just been listening to comments on the radio about Mbappe's 'broken nose'. Enough written about it as well. Hospitalised with a broken nose. Mask in production. Bloody prima donas. Why hospital?. Havent they got doctors and physios in their backroom staff? Poke, prod. Yep, broken nose, crack on.
