Good Morning. It's Friday 14th June, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road

    Fans divided by Piroe

Whites fans are divided whether Joel Piroe has a future at Elland Road, or whether Leeds should cash in this Summer, and gamble on an upgrade!

The former Swansea front man netted 14 times, and created three assists over 2713 minutes of game time last season - thats one goal every 193 minutes. Only Bamford (185 mins) and Summerville (188 min) had a better goal average.

The biggest concern is that the gaffer just doesn't fancy him leading the line, due mainly to his lack of pace. Farke experimented by swapping Piroe and Rutter around, but with their core strengths compromised, was forced to admit defeat.

Piroe is only 24, and has three years left on his contract. If Leeds sell Summerville, where are the goals going to come from next season? How many do Piroe, Bamford and Joseph need to score between them to guarantee a top two finish, and are they good enough to get the job done?

    O'Hare on Farke's radar

Coventry City's Callum O'Hare is on Daniel Farke's radar, according to reports in the Yorkshire Evening Post and Teamtalk.

The 26yo attacking midfielder is out of contract this Summer, and attracting lots of interest from the likes of Burnley, Leicester City, West Ham and Southampton. He joined the Sky Blues from Aston Villa after a successful loan spell back in 2019, and made the move permanent a year later

He prefers to play in the No 10 but has the versatility to play anywhere in midfield too.

He’ll probably cost upwards of £30million...

Former player turned pundit Alan Hutton believes Leeds should be able to secure a transfer fee upwards of £30m for star winger Crysensio Summerville.

There's little doubt that Summerville has Premier League class, and at 22 has a long and exciting career ahead of him; but with only two years left on his terms, can Leeds negotiate the sort of money Hutton is talking about?

Last Summer we saw Leicester City secure over £40m (and add-ons) for Harvey Barnes (2 years left on contract) and James Maddison (1 year left) so why shouldn't Leeds get over £30m for the best player in the Championship?

"He’s an outstanding footballer and his numbers show it with the ability that he’s shown on a regular basis. He’s more than capable of playing in the Premier League. We’re talking about high numbers now, he’ll probably cost upwards of £30million. Leeds want to cash in if they can because there’ll be other players that might leave who they will want to replace to help them compete.

“He’s done really well for them, but I think he wants to play at the highest level. Sometimes it works for all parties because you bring that value into the club as well, so I’ve got a feeling he’ll be allowed to leave.”

Morning all what a come down after Greece is this miserable weather. Piroe is not the problem with 14 goals. Bamford is the one who needs replacing even if he refuses to move a proper striker is a priority. Get a right back and use archie in midfield. Let's see what happens and i don't believe the club need to sell just get rid of the rats. Aaronson has put on 6lbs and now thinks he is superman.

Didn’t we as a team have our best spell with Bamford as the 9 though?

Problem with extending euros out to 24 teams and World Cup with 48 is you’ll inevitably have a load of teams in it just simply not up too the standard. Scotland won’t be only team to get a battering along the way. 16 qualifiers for the euros would be more than enough and 32 for wc
