Leeds United Northampton Saints Northampton Cricket Leeds Rhinos Peterborough Phantoms Ice Hockey Moved to a rural property on the outskirts of Peterborough in February, was looking forward to taking the grandson to a speedway event only to discover Peterborough were disbanded last year after losing their stadium (hence we went to Ice Hockey and really got into it). Kings Lynn isn’t far away so we might go there when I get a chance, remember when I was a kid it was on TV quite a bit but hardly see it mentioned now
My uncle was the great John Louis who captained Ipswich and rode for England in the 1970s should have won the world champs too! I support Essex CCC mainly down to Graeme Gooch absolute legend and I loved spending days in Chelmsford watching that great side of 1970s and 80s.

The cost of watching that England reserves side last night, ridiculous. If you need to give those players minutes, fine, but then sell the tickets for £20 or tops £30 a pop. The stadium was full but I’m sure many would have gone away disappointed.
Yes he is known as John "Tiger" Louis and his Son Chris Louis also rode for the Witches and later as their Promoter. Great days especially when Peterborough and Kings Lynn came a calling!
Anything England do in this tournament would be a plus after the season we just had! I think central defence, injury concerns at left back, and that Iceland performance will temper some expectations. I’d expect us to be among the top four or five contenders, but reaching the semi-finals or the final would be a good achievement. I think countries like France, Portugal, even Germany have better balanced squads than we’ve got. I wonder if our recruitment team and McKenna are keeping their eyes open for any players?
